　これに関してはアーカイブ等も残されているみたいですし。

　一応本文では任ッ2版に（おまけのように）触れてはいるんですけど、当初は予定されていなかったのではないかと思わせる所があります。

　“最新世代のハードウェアとハイエンドPC向けに完全に最適化されている”と口にした傍から任ッ2に対応すると書くこの矛盾。
　PS4世代ではプレイ出来ません、と書きつつそれよりも低性能な任ッ2には対応させるという支離滅裂さ。
　けど任ッ2版の予約開始は今年後半にずれ込む予定。

　また、PC版の最適化にはBeenoxと協力して取り組んでいると書く一方、任ッ2版については

　Activision傘下のお仲間ではある物の西班牙の別会社が手がけている上に任ッ2版については晩夏の頃まで遅れる、と。
　ちなみにDigital Legendsはスマ向けCoDを手がけている所ですね、それ以前の実績も概ねスマ。

　という具合に、任ッ2版は協力して～と書かれていますがほぼ丸投げでしょうし、本当に“今世代機(PS5)向けに完全に最適化された”ものを動かせるかどうかは疑わしい、というか動かせたら最適化云々の方が嘘だったという事になっちゃいますね。

　マジで任ッ2で完全に動く前提でゲームデザインが行われていたら必然的にPS4未満のものしか出来ないという事でIPの弱体化に繋がりますし、本当にMSは何も考えないで“完全に同機能のCoD新作を任天堂ハードに同日発売する法的拘束力がある十年契約”とやらを締結したのでしょうね。
　した割には大分遅くなったような気もしますけど。
